Hey guys! Go look at this! It took me a fucking lifetime to finish this… too many great photographs this year! Narrowing down 100 was almost impossible. So- thank you, everybody who supported BOTY by buying zines or submitting or reblogging or whatever! I love you all so very much! It’s hard to believe we’re ending 2011 with this fantastic zine as our 51st release (and that Reilly and I’s I’ll Clap When I’m Impressed was #50!)… just makes me super psyched to be able to work with so many fantastic photographers!
I just put up a small sale of some stuff, like our new film and a few zines, but I also think i’m going to send a copy of Clap to a few rebloggers… so maybe do that? :)

DRather than getting lost amidst the billion ‘Top Whatever’ lists that every shitty blog is going to pump out, we decided to go about our favourites in a different manner. After several reviews of our close to 1000 posts in 2011, we’ve decided to put together 100/2011- an e-zine showcasing our favourite photographs we posted this year.
BOTY is curated by three photographers who all have distinctly different aesthetic preferences, both in their own work and in others. This zine reflects those differences, all while maintaining a cohesive sense of what, exactly, we take in to account while curating projects.
As we’ve recently celebrated the release of our 50th zine, it’s also nice to know that this week also marks our three year anniversary of working together as an independent publishing house. Pretty crazy to think our first zine, Girls, was just getting started at this time in 2008.
